Gulf Maritime ’06 to feature 150 global marine companies

DUBAI — The fourth edition of the Gulf Maritime exhibition, to be held at Expo Centre Sharjah from April 24-26, 2006, will host a total of 150 leading marine companies from across the globe.
Some of the major companies that have confirmed participation at the event include Dubai-based Teignbridge Propellers, a wholly owned company of USA's Mercury Marine, Saab Marine Middle East, a subsidiary company of Saab Marine Electronics of Sweden, Cummins Middle East, a company owned by Cummins USA, Rolls-Royce, Reintjes Middle East, a subsidiary of Reintjes Germany, Radio Holland, Norwegian Maritime Equipment, Stromme Group, Germany's Schottel, Sharjah Ports and Customs, Abu Dhabi Ship Building, Exalto Emirates, Australian Shipbuilders Association, Berg Propulsion Asia, Germany-based Westfalia Seperator Mineral Oil systems, and Qatar-based Hempel paints among others.
A majority of the companies participating at this year's Gulf Maritime Exhibition are from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States. The Gulf Maritime Exhibition, an annual event held under the Patronage of Sharjah Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, is organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).
