The AWEA OFFSHORE WINDPOWER 2011 Conference & Exhibition brings together exhibitors and attendees from all over the world who are interested in becoming players in this new and highly promising market. The event will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Recent steps taken by both federal and state governments have put offshore wind high on the nations' priority list, signaling to investors that the U.S. is serious about advancing the development of the offshore wind industry. Maryland is one such state that is pushing hard to capture the winds off its coast. Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley has pushed legislation that would require utilities to sign long-term power purchase agreements and create green manufacturing jobs. Maryland is open for business, and so too are booth sales - this is an event worth exhibiting at!
The OFFSHORE WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition has witnessed staggering growth over the last two years, and is now the most important offshore wind exhibition in North America. With over 120 exhibitors and nearly 1,700 attendees, last year's event in Atlantic City was a resounding success. Exhibiting companies came from all over the United States, Canada, Europe, and beyond, to promote their brand and network with North America's leading manufacturers and developers. Our upcoming show in Baltimore, Maryland, promises to be even bigger and better.
If you are planning to attend the exhibition, or simply wish to learn about the exhibiting companies, you will definitely want to create a My Show Planner.
