Advanced Aluminium Vessels on Show in Singapore
AUSTAL PRESS RELEASE
Austal is pleased to invite you and your colleagues to visit our stand at next week’s Asia Pacific Maritime 2008 Exhibition
( www.apmaritime.com/ ) held at Singapore Expo, Hall 3, March 26 – March 28.
Austal will be showcasing its broad range of aluminium vessels including ferries, patrol boats, police boats, offshore crewboats and live-aboard/cruise vessels for both commercial and private use.
We look forward to meeting with vessel owners and operators from this important region, listening to their requirements and then drawing upon Austal’s significant in-house design capability and experience to develop suggested solutions.
Entry to next week’s exhibition is free to all maritime trade professionals, with doors opening at 10am each day.
On display will be a model of Austal’s latest 47.5 metre passenger catamaran ferry, 14 of which are being built to service the growing demand generated from the Hong Kong to Macao route – currently the world’s largest route in terms of passenger numbers. Austal’s fully customised passenger and vehicle-passenger ferries achieve the optimal balance between passenger comfort, speed and economy over a range of loading conditions.
Information on a range of custom-built live-aboard vessels – designed for operations including dive charter, adventure and watersport holidays – as well as cruise yachts, will also be available.
For the offshore oil and gas industry, Austal’s range of crew boats /supply vessels provide an efficient, safe and time sensitive supply service. The Austal stand will also be showcasing a range of patrol boats and police boats designed to effectively and economically address individual maritime security needs.
As we currently celebrate our 20th year, Austal has delivered or has on order more than 200 vessels for 36 individual countries, including nearly 120 to the waters of the Asia Pacific region, and proudly lists among its customers many of the world’s leading commercial operators, navies and police forces.
Austal will be located at Stand F35A throughout the exhibition.
