5/16/2005 11:30 AM (WROC-TV)
The CAT has left the shores of the Port of Rochester for the first time in eight months to be repaired.
The ship headed out in the early morning hours Monday, and was piloted toward Port Weller, Ontario, where it will be put in dry dock and the dings in the hull will be repaired.
The ship will also be painted and the Bay Ferries CAT logo will be put in place.
The fast ferry service between Rochester and Toronto is expected to be re-launched on June 17.
Bay Ferries customer service line tells News 8 that tickets and reservations go on sale starting Wednesday.
